How and Why It Works

Elevated has taken the successful compatibility matching technology of eHarmony that is responsible for 438 marriages per day - that's 4% of all marriages in the U.S. per day! - and applied the same scientific methods to match employees with jobs and companies. Just as eHarmony came about because Dr. Neil Clark Warren knew there had to be a better way to finding love than just luck, Elevated believes that if jobs and employees are matched based on compatibility, people will be much more satisfied and fulfilled in their jobs, and companies will have higher rates of employee retention, motivation, engagement, and productivity.

The Technology

Our unique technology uses predictive algorithms based on features contained within resumes, profiles collected from Elevated users, company profiles submitted by workers, and the contents of companies' job listings. Elevated matches job seekers with jobs based on three types of compatibility:

SKILLS

This component refers to the degree to which your skills and background fit a specific job. Through our "Skills Fit" algorithm which uses data from millions of resumes and career transitions, we predict how likely you are to be hired for a position based on your resume and work history.



CULTURE

This aspect highlights how your own core work values fit with a company's culture. Culture compatibility has proven crucial in predicting an employee's overall job satisfaction and engagement. Through extensive research into what value and culture factors need to match, we have identified 16 key factors which determine a person's compatibility with a job.

PERSONALITY

This element shows how compatible your personality will be with any particular hiring manager. To measure such personality compatibility, we draw on factors taken from both the eHarmony relationship matching system along with factors uniquely related to workplace environment. Our predictive models are based on analysis of interpersonal work relationships.

After uploading your resume, you continue on to the Profile Builder section. This is the place that really separates us from the rest of the crowd; we use our world-renowned technology to get to know all about you so we can help find the job that best matches YOU.

STEP TWO

Compatibility Scorecard

Based on the information you provide in the Profile Builder section, we use our technology to create your Compatibility Scorecard, which shows your compatibility with your current company. We will also use this information to match you with job listings.

STEP THREE

Happy Searching

Depending on the information you provide, you can automatically see the job matches tailored uniquely to you. These are based on your detailed compatibility profile. You can also search based on your provided demographics, or input your own keywords and search parameters.

STEP FOUR

Job Match Found!

Once you have found a job match, you can apply directly for the job, as well as view compatibility details and predicted job satisfaction with that specific company. You are also able to save a job listing you'd like to come back to later.
